Ik heb eerder de handmatig verstelbare versterker van Glomex gebruikt, die ook bij sommige Glomex-antennes is inbegrepen. Het opnieuw instellen van de wapening met de hand was vervelend. Te laag Geen signaal en te veel ruis in de radio-ontvangst. De installatie van de versterker is eenvoudig en kleiner dan de handmatig instelbare versie. Werkt prima met mij, dus hier 5 sterren voor de tevredenheid .. Ik vind de prijs in vergelijking met conventionele antenneversterkers te hoog, dus hier slechts 3 van de 5 sterren. Kwaliteit en vakmanschap lijken in orde, duurzaamheid op de boot moet nog blijken. Een voedingsindicator (LED) ontbreekt helaas. Daarom slechts 4 van de 5 sterren.
