Who is EPROPULSION?

In 2012, founder Danny Tao was studying engineering and robotics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. After university, he practised various water sports with his fellow students and co-founders and volunteered for marine conservation, as his university is located in a bay. Thus, under the premise of understanding the importance of sustainable thinking to protect our planet, EPROPULSION was born, and, thanks to his excellent education in robotics and engineering, he felt he could make a difference with the innovation of an electric propulsion system for boats.

EPROPULSION was founded by three engineers, alongside Danny Tao, and was created in the renowned engineering environment of HKUST. There is a strong engineering culture within EPROPULSION, where each engineer is individually responsible for creating as much value for users as possible. The Electric Outboard Spirit 1.0 in particular has been hugely successful around the world. In combination with their Solar Panel for Electric Outboards, you'll be kitting your boat out with the future in mind.

EPROPULSION's motto is as follows: "We want to enrich the boating experience, whilst providing a clean, sustainable and eco-friendly atmosphere for marine life and the surrounding environment."
