AIS receivers
The AIS, 2-channel receiver by Weatherdock carries the product name of "easyAIS" and is available in various designs. All models receive Class A (commercial shipping) and Class B (leisure boating) signals, within a radius of 30 nautical miles. The easyAIS 2G WIFI model is equipped with an integrated WLAN module with which AIS messages can be displayed on your iPad once you have downloaded the easyAIS or NAVIX app. Furthermore, SVB offers the easyAIS IS with an integrated splitter and the easyAIS IS N2K with an integrated splitter and NMEA 2000 interface as well.
AIS transponders
Brand new at SVB: Weatherdock's S-generation easyTRX transponder. This unit comes with a new silver coating and an improved processor, as well as an SD card reader. he easyTRX makes you visible to other vessels with AIS receivers. The 2-channel AIS transponder receives Class A and B signals and sends out Class B (leisure boating) signals (EASY TRX2S). The easyTRX is also available with a built-in splitter (easyTRX2S IS) and/or an integrated GPS antenna (easyTRX2S IS GPS) and/or an integrated WIFI module (easyTRX2S IS GPS WIFI).
"Person in an emergency" / "Man Overboard" transmitter
In addition to AIS receivers and transmitters, SVB also offers the easyRESCUE SART emergency beacon with SOLAS approval and all of the necessary equipment. The easyRESCUE is your ideal partner on board, as it enables surrounding vessels to see the position of an individual in the sea through AIS messages displayed on chart plotters, which works as a perfect solution in emergency situations.
