Just in time for HEMPEL's 100th anniversary, the new hybrid MILLE SPECIAL is introduced to the market. A special binding agent gives this antifouling paint a decisive advantage in terms of application and re-coating possibilities.
MILLE SPECIAL is an extremely effective, slowly self-polishing Anti-Fouling, which is suitable for both motor and sailing boats. It ensures optimal protection of the underwater hull in all waters. Suitable for all substrates except aluminium.
SPECIAL MILLE always fits!
MILLE SPECIAL can be applied both to old hard-antifouling and to self-polishing antifouling. MILLE SPECIAL can be painted over again and again in the future, no matter if with hard or selfpolishing Antifouling paint.
  • Waiting time before launching: min. 24 hours / max. 9 months
  • Application: brush or paint roller
  • Dilution and tool-cleanser: HEMPEL Thinner 808 (SCC Art.50088)
  • Yield: about 13 m² / liter
  • Can be applied to: fiberglass, wood and steel
  • Drying time:
    • 10°C Touch dry: 8 hours / over-coating interval, min. 16 hours
    • 20°C Touch dry: 4 hours / over-coating interval, min. 8 hours
You are not allowed to use these antifoulings in the Netherlands and Finland!
