The CTEK chargers of the MXS series are sophisticated, microprocessor controlled battery chargers with built-in, automatic temperature compensation. The chargers solve various battery problems and they are ideal for daily use.
Their features include a battery condition check which determines whether the device can receive and retain a charge. Furthermore there is a patented automatic desulphation as well as a special re-conditioning for batteries where acid layers have formed. Lastly there is a "snowflake"-mode for perfect charging on cold winter days. The patented Float / Pulse maintenance charging makes the MXS chargers ideal for long-term preservation of your battery.
The whole process of the battery test, the load and the maintenance can be monitored on the clear LED display. Moreover, the 5.0 MXS has an AGM option, which helps to maximize the performance and life of most of the start-stop batteries.
