PerfectCharge MCA1215 Charger

The PerfectCharge MCA 1215 has two battery outputs, so it can simultaneously charge one battery plus the starter battery. And very gently too, using advanced 6-step charging technology. With its compact and lightweight design and practical screw connections, it can be installed quickly and hassle-free. Featuring an input voltage range of 110–230 V, it can be used anywhere in the world and will charge reliably even when the input voltage drops. Ideal for frequent travellers and globetrotters. Useful enhancements: remote control, battery sensor, temperature sensor or Dometic MPC 01 battery controller for up to 30 % faster charging.

To CN2 connector

• A potential-free change-over switch with 3 contacts is available for the alarm function, e.g. For an audible alarm.
• Pin 1 = NC (normally closed), is connected to pin 3 in the idle state, connection is opened in the event of an alarm.
• Pin 2 = NO (normally open), is open in the idle state, is connected to pin 3 in the event of an alarm.
• Pin 3 = COM (common), is the common contact of the changeover switch.
• All contacts of the change-over switch are potential-free, so they have no reference to PLUS or MINUS.
• Sleep mode can be controlled by an external (optional) ON / OFF switch, which is connected to pins 4 and 5. When the switch is on, the sleep mode is active.
• Pin 4 = control input sleep mode
• Pin 5 = MINUS

Optionally, a remote control for sleep mode or to display the current operating mode as well as a temperature sensor are available. The charging characteristic of the device refers to room temperature. The sensor is adjusted to a voltage of 20 mV /°C.
