The GME MT410G is a personal distress beacon including GPS. The device sends, just like the distress beacon EPIRB, in the UHF band at 406.028 MHz for satellite tracking and a signal on the 121.5 MHz homer frequency
Within 60 seconds after the alarm is triggered, and with the integrated GPS, it reaches a location accuracy of 100 m. The compact and ergonomic design of the MT410G make it fit anywhere. It can be attached to life jackets, survival suits and much more. This device is equipped with special (Non Hazmat) batteries.
To prevent false alarms, the trigger mechanism is secured. The distress alarm is waterproof and buoyant.
