Highly efficient PTFE-based thin film antifouling. Thin-film antifouling does not work by means of active ingredients that are emitted into the water, but by means of a very smooth surface, which makes it difficult for organisms to stick to.
The smooth surface is created with the addition of PTFE. The antifouling effect is also supported by the copper constituents incorporated in the binder. The extremely smooth surface ensures extremely low frictional resistance in the water and thus results in higher speeds and lower fuel consumption.
Very suitable for North and Baltic Sea and for inland waters. Not for aluminum boats; steel boats must be primed with a 2-component product (at least 350 μm). GTI 30 is ready to use and contains a high percentage of metallic copper powder. SEATEC GTI 30 is compatible with VC-17m and can be applied directly to existing old VC-17m coatings without further primers / adhesion promoters. SEATEC GTI 30 contains no chlorinated hydrocarbons. Available in graphite.
Yield approx. 12 m²/l with a dry film thickness of 10 μm, drying time approx. 20 min (20° C).

NOTE! Unlike older GTI 30 or VC-17M paints, the colour tone in the tin is already graphite and does not change after put into water.
