Product beschrijving

Aluminum-based filler designed to improve the effectiveness of the WEST SYSTEM epoxy resin in keeping out moisture and preventing gel-coat blisters (osmosis).

The West System filler 422 is ideal for creating a barrier / sealing layer improving by far the abrasion-resistance of the whole coating. The filler can be added in weight-percentages from 20 to 25 percent to the epoxy resin mix.

Toller Füllstoff
rührt gut ein, um 15% -20% mit einem std Epoxydharz und als "Gelege" auf einem Vliesstoff (M524 ECR 30A - Owens Corning - wie es auch bei GFK-Druckrohren eingesetzt wird, i.e. Entsaltzungsanlagen) aufgetragen, es bildet sich eine Schichtdicke von 0,8mm - Gut schleifbar und hat die zur Osmose-Verhütung erforderte Schichtdicke in einem Arbeitsgang. Sollten mal die gängigen Methoden zum Osmoseschutz überarbeiten....

Gute Verarbeitbarkeit. 10-15% bW (by Weight) reichen aus um es deutlich schlechter schleifen zu lassen. Ob die von West System propagierte Sperrwirkung was ist...schwer zu sagen, da in der technischwissenschaftlichen Literatur nichts auf die Schnelle zu finden war. UV Licht wird mit Sicherheit zurückgehalten, also das was Epoxy Harze recht schnellt zerstört.
