SECUMAR – Innovation, spanning over 4 generations. For over 50 years, the family business of Bernhardt Appartebau GmbH port & Co. has been developing and producing certified rescue products under the brand name SECUMAR. Starting with helmet diving equipment Jost Bernhardt, soon diversifies its company's product range towards the maritime rescue area. Encouraged by the "Parmir" tragedy in 1957 in which 80 sailors were killed in a storm even though they were carrying life jackets, Jost Bernhardt is working intensively on the development of an inflatable lifejacket that protects a person in distress even when unconscious. Through own scientific research and cooperation with experts and captains, the company constantly develops better life-saving equipment. Secumar life jackets and accessories

As of 1970, life jackets of the brand Secumar and especially the model Secumar BS8 have been successfully established in the leisure boating sector. Secumar is characterised by innovation and inventiveness. The Duo Protect System (Double layer material), automatic triggering technology 4001 S, the adjustable, "smart" pressure relief valve and the SECUMAR click-fitting, similar to car seatbelts, are just a few examples of SECUMAR's commitment to your safety on water.

SVB offers the complete SECUMAR product range for pleasure boating. From ISO certified Secumar foam life jackets and children life jackets to their automatic life jackets with 3D system and the brand new, offshore "Survival" series. Accessories such as the Secumar Lifeline or matching spare parts are of course also included. We can also carry out maintenance service of your life jacket.
